About this data and its limitations
Popularity ranks and shares use each product's trailing-12-month software payment activity, relative to all tracked software payments. They do not measure distinct customer penetration or actual product usage. Active pairs combine related-product similarity with rank or payment-activity share criteria. A challenger can be selected for rising rank even when its payment share is falling. Detector confidence describes the pattern rules, not a statistically calibrated probability of switching.
Rank movements use the available history in the current detector; share patterns use its six-observation lookback where available. Short or missing histories can shorten these comparisons. A calendar-aligned interpretation should be checked against the product's monthly source series before citing an annual or six-month change.
Historical crossovers are candidate patterns from recorded rankings. They do not establish causation or confirmed customer replacement. Results reflect the Cledara customer population and the detector's coverage filters, rather than every software product.
